Company Overview

Khazna Data Centers is a UAE-based hyperscale wholesale data center operator, originally formed as a joint venture backed by G42 and the former Etisalat Group. It operates over 24 live data centers across the UAE, making it the largest provider in the region and a key player in powering digital transformation and AI infrastructure.

In 2024, Khazna launched a major facility in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi—AUH6—a 31.8 MW data center designed for AI and high-performance computing, featuring modular systems and solar energy support. Additional developments are underway, including AUH4 in Mafraq and AUH8 in Masdar City, both scheduled for completion by 2026, adding another 60 MW. In Ajman, Khazna is building the QAJ1 facility, a 100 MW AI-ready center with advanced liquid cooling.

Future facilities are targeting LEED Gold and Estidama Pearl-4 certifications, with a focus on achieving a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) below 1.5. This will be supported by adiabatic cooling systems, solar installations, and smart energy management. Khazna is also implementing an AI-powered Command Control Center to optimize operations and predict infrastructure failures.

With new investments from MGX and Silver Lake in 2025, Khazna is expanding into new markets, including Egypt and Italy, where a massive 500 MW campus is being developed.
