The brand name “Danzas” originated from the historical Danzas company founded by Louis Danzas in 1815. Danzas AEI Emirates became a market leader in Dubai’s freight forwarding and logistics sector, offering comprehensive services including air, ocean, and road freight, contract logistics, industrial projects, and customs clearance, leveraging over 20 state-of-the-art facilities across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

For nearly 30 years, Danzas AEI Emirates operated as a vital part of the DHL Global Forwarding network, recognized globally for its excellence in Industrial Projects and Humanitarian Relief logistics. The company provided a wide array of logistics solutions such as package delivery, real-time tracking, customs brokerage, and warehousing, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Its strategic locations, including Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum International Airport), and Dubai Airport Free Zone, underscored its capability to handle diverse and complex cargo needs.

In January 2024, DHL Global Forwarding completed the full acquisition of Danzas AEI Emirates, rebranding all 20 facilities and integrating its 1,100 employees under the DHL Global Forwarding brand. This acquisition marks the end of the Danzas name in the UAE, strengthening DHL’s position as a market leader in the region and enabling further expansion of its logistics activities, particularly in project logistics and supporting the economic transformation of the Gulf States .
