Quali Middle East Association (QMEA) is an international non-profit organization headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Established in 2006 under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce Law No. 9 of 2012, QMEA serves as the regional regulatory body for architectural coatings in the Middle East, specializing in quality assurance for aluminum and steel surface treatments used in construction.

QMEA acts as the General Licensee Holder for global quality certification marks such as QUALICOAT, QUALANOD, and QUALIDECO, which set industry standards for powder coating, anodizing, and decorative finishes of aluminum and steel products. The association provides certification, technical oversight, and best-practice guidelines tailored specifically for the Middle East’s harsh climatic conditions, ensuring durability and performance of coated materials exposed to extreme environments.

The organization supports and governs over 80 member companies, including coating applicators, powder coating suppliers, manufacturers, architects, and consultants. QMEA offers services such as plant inspections, certification processes, training programs, seminars, technical support, and industry networking. Its mission focuses on raising the technical standards of exterior metal finishing, enhancing product quality, environmental compliance, and regulatory adherence throughout the region.
